Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. If the player rolls 2,3,12 it is called “craps”.
If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. | There are several bets in Craps. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet.
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. Odds on a Line Bet. If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is aloowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Don’t forget to take your money or chips off the table if you win. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point number is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you seven oit before rolling the point number again you lose.
The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets. The Come Bet. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If the point number is 4 or 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2.
The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11).
Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. if you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1.
Field Bet is a one-roll bet. You win even money if 3,4,9,10 or 11 rolls. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11.
Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet. You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets.
