| If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Field Bet is a one-roll bet. You can make a field bet on any roll. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet.
