Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". If the player rolls 7 or 11 he is said to have made a pass. If the player rolls 2,3,12 it is called “craps”.
If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ number the shooter continues to roll until that "point" number is rolled again, which is called "making the point". | There are several bets in Craps. If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is aloowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that you can make an adds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Don’t forget to take your money or chips off the table if you win. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point number is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling n7 you win. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. If the point number is 5 or 9 you get paid 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. If the point number is 4 or 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5.
The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. Click on the PLACE area on the Craps table to make a place bet. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. The payout depends on the kind if the bet. Any Seven pays 4 to 1. Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. If you have a hard 4 and 10 the payout is 7:1. if you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1.
Field Bet is a one-roll bet. You can make a field bet on any roll. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets.
