You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 you get paid 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets.
