| Craps is very easy to play. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". If the player rolls 7 or 11 he is said to have made a pass. If the player makes a pass the pass line bets win and don’t pass lines lose. | LINE BETS. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. Odds on a Line Bet. If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is aloowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. The additional bet is called odds bet. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an adds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Don’t forget to take your money or chips off the table if you win. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If the point number is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you seven oit before rolling the point number again you lose.
The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. If the point number is 5 or 9 you get paid 3:2. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To make a field bet you have to click on the corresponding area on the Betting Layout. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses.
Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets.
