Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. In the case of a ‘point’ number the shooter continues to roll until that "point" number is rolled again, which is called "making the point". | LINE BETS. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). Odds on a Line Bet. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If you roll the same number without rolling n7 you win. If you seven oit before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds.
The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. Click on the PLACE area on the Craps table to make a place bet. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. There are seven One Roll bets. Any Craps (2, 3 and 12) pays 7 to 1. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11).
Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. You can make a field bet on any roll. If any other number is rolled you lose. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
