| LINE BETS. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. Some casinos allow to make odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. You can make a field bet on any roll. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a lay bet you have to click on the corresponding area of the betting layout. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll.
