If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". If a 7 is rolled "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. | There are several bets in Craps. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass".
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The additional bet is called odds bet. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow to make odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that you can make an adds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. If the point number is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2.
The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. The payout depends on the kind if the bet. Eleven (YO) and 3 pay 15 to 1. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11).
Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. If you have a hard 4 and 10 the payout is 7:1. if you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1. You can make a field bet on any roll. If you have 2 or 12 you are paid 2:1.
To make a field bet you have to click on the corresponding area on the Betting Layout. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet.
