Craps is a dice game. Craps is a fast and exciting game with a lot of action. The intricacy of rules, betting options, and payout ratios make Craps unique among casino games. If you bet wisely, you can keep the house’s advantage to a very small percentage (about 0. 6% in the best cases). The main advantage of Craps is that all you need is a pair of dice and a few friends. Players often begin with Craps in the casino because it is one of the easiest games. The main idea of the game is that you place a bet on what is referred to as the “passline bet”. If you roll a point number this number must be rolled again before the seven for you to win anything. You lose if you roll the seven before you roll the point number. In addition to your original bet you can make one more bet. As a Guest Player you can watch the game of other players and then begin playing yourself for real money. It is very interesting to watch other people playing craps. Craps is one of the casino games that has the lowest house edge against you About Craps |
| Another important component is a table. The wood railing acts as a backboard for the dice to be thrown against. The surface of the table is green and it has a lot of different designs. All the bets that you can make are indicated on the craps table. The bets vary from table to table. If you are a first-time player the craps table and numerous bets on it may seem complicated, but in fact it is very easy to understand and to learn them. | Craps is very easy to play. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. If the player rolls 7 or 11 he is said to have made a pass. If the player rolls 2,3,12 it is called “craps”.
If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ number the shooter continues to roll until that "point" number is rolled again, which is called "making the point". If a 7 is rolled "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled How To Play Craps |
| There are several bets in Craps. You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet.
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. Odds on a Line Bet. If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is aloowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow to make odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an adds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. The Come Bet. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. There are seven One Roll bets. The payout depends on the kind if the bet. Any Seven pays 4 to 1. Any Craps (2, 3 and 12) pays 7 to 1. Hi-Lo (2 and 12) pays 30 to 1. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11). Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. if you have a hard 6 and 8 the payout is 9:1. If you have 2 or 12 you are paid 2:1. If any other number is rolled you lose.
To make a field bet you have to click on the corresponding area on the Betting Layout. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. Lay bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. if the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets.
