Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. | LINE BETS. You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets. The Come Bet. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. If the point number is 4 or 10 the payout is 2:1. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. There are seven One Roll bets. Any Seven pays 4 to 1. Any Craps (2, 3 and 12) pays 7 to 1. Eleven (YO) and 3 pay 15 to 1. Hardway Bet is made by clicking on the corresponding area of the craps table. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. You can make a field bet on any roll. You win even money if 3,4,9,10 or 11 rolls. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls.
