You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. Some casinos allow to make odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. Remember that you can make an adds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Hardway bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force a bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. You win even money if 3,4,9,10 or 11 rolls. If you have 2 or 12 you are paid 2:1. If any other number is rolled you lose. The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11.
Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet. You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet.
