| LINE BETS. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. Odds on a Line Bet. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets.
