Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". If the player rolls 7 or 11 he is said to have made a pass. If the player makes a pass the pass line bets win and don’t pass lines lose. If the player rolls 2,3,12 it is called “craps”. | There are several bets in Craps. LINE BETS. You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out).
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. Odds on a Line Bet. If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is aloowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow to make odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If the point number is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds.
The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets. The Come Bet. A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7.
The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. Click on the PLACE area on the Craps table to make a place bet. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay even money. One Roll Bets are made by clicking on the corresponding area of the Betting Layout. Horn Bet (2, 3, 11 and 12) pays 7 to 1 (2 or 12) or 3 to 1 (3 or 11). To force a bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. If a pair is rolled before a 7 or any other combination of the Hardway number is rolled you win. If you have a hard 4 and 10 the payout is 7:1.
Field Bet is a one-roll bet. You can make a field bet on any roll. If you have 2 or 12 you are paid 2:1. If any other number is rolled you lose.
To make a field bet you have to click on the corresponding area on the Betting Layout. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. Lay Bets is based on selecting a number and placing a bet on it. To win Lay Bet a 7 has to roll before the selected number rolls. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets.
