| There are several bets in Craps. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass".
If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is aloowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that you can make an adds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll.
